The new winery is an architectural marvel, a cathedral of wine that integrates the most advanced winemaking technologies and all the knowledge of many generations.

Visits: Recognized in October 2020 as “Best winery open to tourism” by ACEVIN (Spanish Association of Wine Cities), for Bodega Otazu, wine tourism is a fundamental part of its way of understanding wine: as a catalyst of emotions whose sole purpose is to be enjoyed and shared. It is a concept that contains a universe that encompasses history, culture, art, nature, terroir, emotions, all features that distinguish it. Visits include a walk through the historic Lordship of Otazu dating back to the Middle Ages. Next, we visit the old winery, converted into a historical museum and space dedicated to contemporary art of the Otazu Foundation, awarded the “A” Prize for Collecting 2020, granted by the ARCO Foundation. The tour continues through the winery’s new facilities, where the subway barrel room designed by Jaime Gaztelu, known as the Cathedral of Wine, a world architectural reference, stands out.

Among forests of oak, beech, hazelnut and holly trees, the Pío Negro (Euskal Txerri) pig roams happily in the meadows of Lekunberri, in Navarra. There, José Ignacio Jauregui has managed to recover this native breed, to which he pays homage in his Maskarada restaurant.

EL MORO Farm

Granja EL MORO is a dairy goat farm with its own cheese dairy. It is located in Figarol, a small village on the high bank of Navarra, near the Natural Park of Las Bardenas Reales, (World Biosphere Reserve). The cheese factory is next to the goat farm, from which all the milk for the production of our cheeses is obtained. There are about 450 adult goats on the farm, which produce the milk. Most of the goats are of the Murcian-Granadine breed, although there are also some goats of the Malaga breed. PRODUCTS OF THE CHEESE FACTORY We currently market four types of cheese. Three of them are made from pasteurized milk from our goats. And one, from raw milk. - FRESH GOAT CHEESE: It is a fresh Burgos type cheese made with pasteurized goat's milk. It is presented in transparent plastic tubs and weighs approximately 380-400 grams. - SEMI-HEALTHY GOAT CHEESE: It is a mature cheese made with pasteurized goat's milk. It has a maturation period of 5 to 7 weeks. Its rind is whitish green in color and is packaged unwashed. It is presented wrapped in white paper and weighs approximately 500-600 grams. - CURED GOAT CHEESE: It is a mature cheese made with pasteurized goat's milk. It is matured for three months. Its rind is grayish green in color and is packaged unwashed. It is presented wrapped in cling film and weighs approximately 400-500 grams. - CURED RAW GOAT MILK CHEESE: It is a mature cheese made with raw goat milk. It has a maturation period of three months or more. Its rind is grayish green in color and is packaged unwashed. It is vacuum-packed and weighs approximately 400-500 grams.

Preservation Museum

The Canning Museum is located in the center of San Adrián, in the old El Navarrico factory. The Museum's objective is the conservation and dissemination of the industrial and bibliographical heritage of the canning industry, making a journey through the origins and consolidation of the vegetable canning sector in San Adrián. It is a space full of content where, through objects such as old cans, utensils, documents, machinery, photographs, audiovisual content... a journey through the origins and consolidation of the vegetable preserves sector is traced.
